Tristan

Tristan

John and I have been praying a lot, lately, on behalf of his cousin's son, Tristan. His leukemia went into remission months ago, but has since returned. Months ago they decided to run some tests on his siblings and as a result found his older sister is a bone marrow donor candidate. She agreed to the transplant and underwent surgery a couple of weeks ago. The transplant has been successful, thusfar, but only time can tell. He's currently experiencing the well known negative effects of chemo, but they feel he's on track to recovery.

I, personally, have not met him, but John has spent a considerable amount of time with him over the years and loves him. He thinks the world of him. Thanks to Facebook I've gotten to know the family a bit. We hope to be able to visit them in California soon! Can't wait to meet this incredible boy everyone speaks so highly of. Leda has had numerous opportunities to travel over there to help and offer moral support. She always returns home, speaking of great love and admiration for Tristan.

Please keep him and his family in your prayers. The more prayers, the merrier! This kid means the world to so many people.

Thank you 5-9-16
