July 24th

July 24th

Went to the Bountiful carnival and met the Mayne's there (free parking at the chiropractic office kiddy corner to the park, head's up for next year!)

Kelly rock climbed (with no shoes!)

Charity did whatever this is called...

Then we had a delicious barbecue at the Maynes'. Sarah and the kids came, too! It's so great to have this time to spend with them. It was the best time to come too- lots of fun activities.

The Maynes' new cat "Cali". She is so sweet. She just molds into whatever position you put her in. She doesn't try to get away like most kittens do. And no clawing either.

I'm sooooo allergic to kittens though. After holding her for about 3 minutes I looked at my arms. They were bright red and on fire! Kittens aren't as good at cleaning/licking themselves as cats are.

She stayed like this for a while.

Erika and Kelly absolutely love her. Christa let them keep this kitten because she is so calm and sweet. This was the last batch; Misty is getting "fixed."

She kind of looks like Grandma's cat Muffin did.

It was hard to get a picture of these two together, looking at the camera smiling. They're so energetic!

I was surprised how fast Sannah warmed up to me.

Sannah on the swing: "Wee hue! Wee hue!"

I love this picture of these two love birds. Christa looks so good in red!!
I can't believe she is due in just a little over a month! So exciting!

Successfully got everyone's face in the picture. Sarah mentioned how nice it is to just sit in a backyard in Utah. Apparently Tennessee is really hot and humid right now.

It really was such a beautiful, peaceful evening. Too bad Brent wasn't there with us!

My sisters and me!

Jack coaxed me into coming over to the trampoline and taking pictures of him doing somersaults on the trampoline. Didn't take much coaxing. So cute!

Wish John could have come! He had to work a 12 hour. He's not used to the 24th of July being a holiday because he grew up in California. He would have loved playing with and photographing the kids. Jack was very outgoing and social (at times, it can be hit and miss with him)

Buddy was so scared of just the sound of the fireworks. He was breathing really hard and fast and staying close to Nate. The kids said that last year, he would run down into the basement and hide underneath the bed.
