John's Ultrasound
John had an ultrasound done one his stomach (not for a baby), since his doc suspected a malfunctioning gallbladder. The results came back normal; no issues with his gallbladder. We were both kind of bummed, especially him. We figured a gallbladder removal surgery might be an "easy" fix, considering this is such a mystery to the both of us. His doctor now recommends an endoscope which is scheduled for early next month. . -Early December
Golden State Warriors/Jazz
Our friends, who were just married in July, Kate and Dave invited us to the Warrior's/Jazz game. It was so fun and great to get to know Kate a little better. She's so nice...The Warrior's won! Yay! And it was so so cold that night. We forgot to bring cash in order to park, surprisingly the nice lady in the booth let us park for free. 12-9-16
2016 Family Christmas Party
John and I were so happy to have the party at our place! We spent all afternoon getting the house ready and cooking our contribution to the meal. We got the tree out, decorated it. And let me tell you- John is VERY meticulous when it comes to tree decorating. Several times, he wanted to bag it all and just go buy a real one! Come to find out- he and his mom were always in charge of their tree when he was growing up, and apparently she always had the best tree in town. He said it was always gorgeous and PERFECT.... Mom, Simon, Brent, Sarah and their kids came. We played the plastic wrap ball game! So fun to watch A for his turn. When he got the ball I think he was so nervous that he would just shake it. We're so glad to have the Hatches in town! They're living in Mom's basement until about February, when they will go to Oregon for some clinical rotations for PA school and then stay there for good. So exciting for them! We definitely will have to go visit them. 12-12-16
